Classic systems
Traditional formats that extend fabric from the façade; a straight-drop awning uses wall-fixed arms descending in a triangle and is commonly assessed for windows and shopfronts. Width, projection and operation are confirmed for each opening.

Vertical systems
Vertical roll-down screens for glazing or enclosed openings; a micro-perforated fabric can reduce direct solar radiation while retaining the outward view. Guides, fabric and dimensions are defined for each opening.

Folding arms
Awnings whose fabric opens and retracts through folding or articulated arms, without posts in the covered area. Supports may be frontal, lateral or ceiling-mounted according to the system; pitch, width, projection and fixings are checked.

Cassette systems
Folding-arm awnings with a cassette that covers the fabric and mechanism when retracted. Front or ceiling fixing and the available space depend on the model, so they are checked before the solution is confirmed.

Windbreaks
Vertical terrace closures that can limit lateral sun, wind or rain. The window version incorporates framed transparent PVC; the no-window version keeps a continuous panel. They are fixed to a façade, ceiling or structural profiles according to the project.

Awning motorisation
Cherubini as an option to consider
We often recommend considering Cherubini when the motor’s features fit the awning and its intended use. In its official documentation, Ocean RX is described as an awning motor with a mechanical limit switch, built-in radio and manual override; Wave Wire is presented as a wired option for awnings. These references help frame the conversation, not make an automatic choice.
We confirm torque, tube diameter and type, limits, power supply and control before finalising a proposal. Exact compatibility depends on the existing installation.
