Automation in Marbella

Convenient control for awnings and blinds.

Make everyday use of your awnings and blinds easier with automation chosen after reviewing the installation.

Automation should begin with the existing installation: system type, axle, measurements, mechanism and intended use. We review those details before suggesting a motor or control.

We can assess awning and blind motorisation, remotes, wall controls, sensors and home integration. We do not publish models or power ratings as a general promise: the option is selected after assessing the project.

What we assess in each installation

  • Awning and blind motorisation
  • Remotes and wall controls according to the system
  • Sensors and automation assessed for each project
  • Home integration where compatible

Solution types

Types we can assess with you

Every installation is different. These options help compare routes before the model and solution are confirmed.

Motorised awning installed on a home

Awning motorisation

A motor turns the winding axle to open and retract the awning. Sizing considers system type, axle diameter, width, arms or tension and projection; compatibility is confirmed after the installation is inspected.

Motorised roller shutters installed on a home

Blind motorisation

An upgrade with a motor inside the winding tube, electrical connection, control device and limit-switch setup. Size, material, weight, tube and the existing manual mechanism are checked before work begins.

Wall remote used to control a motorised system

Remote and wall control

A remote, wall switch or app sends a command to the motor receiver; a system may control one unit or a group according to its protocol. Receiver, power and technology are checked before any control function is promised.

Automation controller for managing solar shading

Sensors and automation

Sensors and programmed rules that trigger movement on compatible equipment. On a motorised awning, a wind sensor can detect vibration above its configured threshold and command closure; it must be set up and tested during installation.

Home controls and devices prepared for integration

Home integration

A gateway and app can provide scenes, schedules or voice control for compatible motors. For example, TaHoma works with Somfy RTS or Zigbee products; the protocol, gateway and installed model must match.

Motors, controls and accessories

Cherubini and Somfy, compared from the installation

We often recommend considering Cherubini and Somfy as options to assess, without presenting universal superiority or automatic compatibility. Cherubini documents dual-radio motors and its META ecosystem; Somfy documents motors, controls and sensors for roller shutters and awnings. The decision depends on the opening, weight, tube, use, power supply and what is already installed at home. Somfy’s guide explains that the tubular motor sits inside the tube around which the shutter rolls and that, in a radio configuration, there is no cable between control and motor: the visual result depends on the specific installation.

Quality comes from correct sizing, setting the limits and choosing controls and accessories that work with the specific protocol. We check the remote, receiver, sensor, gateway, adapters and brackets individually; not every system offers the same connected-home functions.
